Interlock Ransomware (Ransomware)

Interlock ransomware, discovered in 2024, engages in Big Game Hunting and double extortion but doesn't operate as a Ransomware-as-a-Service group. Data Leak Site "Worldwide Secrets Blog" negotiates ransom prices with victims.

Gremlin Stealer (Data Theft)

Unit 42 researchers discovered Gremlin Stealer, a C# malware advertised on Telegram since mid-March 2025, capable of stealing sensitive data from victims' browsers, clipboard, and local disk.

TerraStealer (Data Theft)

TerraStealerV2 steals browser credentials, cryptocurrency wallet data, and browser extension info, targeting Chrome “Login Data” database but does not bypass ABE protection. Data is sent to Telegram and wetransfers[.]io.

BlackByte Ransomware (Ransomware)

BlackByte is a ransomware threat group that began operating in 2021, known for targeting critical infrastructure entities in North America with various versions of ransomware. More recent versions use stronger encryption.

RedExt is a browser extension-based Command & Control framework designed for authorized red team operations and security assessments.

ClickFix (Phishing)

In April 2024, researchers found compromised sites leading to an iframe on pley[.]es showing an error message. The payload domain was taken offline, preventing infection. Later, the iframe was replaced with the ClearFake inject.

ConnectWise (Trojan)

Trojans are malicious software disguised as legitimate programs used by cyber-thieves to gain access to users' systems. They can spy on users, steal data, and provide backdoor access to the system.

Fake Browser (Trojan)

Attackers infect enterprise networks with malware by promoting fake browser updates on hacked websites, leading to the installation of banking trojans and later ransomware encryption on compromised networks.

Lumma (Data Theft)
