Job Description

Stamus Networks is looking for an accomplished Sales Development Representative (SDR) with experience in the cyber security industry. The ideal candidate will be driven and self-motivated, curious and eager to learn about our technology and understand our prospect’s business along with the challenges they wish to overcome. Researching accounts and the ability to generate curiosity and interest are the key to your success. This role requires a creative approach with confident persistence to be successful.

As an SDR you will follow-up digital marketing efforts and website visitors with a research-driven personal touch, drive attendance to webinars and act on behalf of channel partners for joint marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will be responsible for cold-prospecting within targeted markets.

This is a critical role that will shape the first impression of Stamus Networks. Job Duties

  • Proactively reach-out to prospects in targeted markets to schedule appointments with sales managers.

  • Research companies and members of their cybersecurity teams to establish common ground and uncover potential pain points.

  • Reach-out to prospects from marketing campaigns and industry trade shows to set appointments with sales managers.

  • Work with the marketing team to establish working knowledge of the value proposition for each campaign.

  • Reach-out to prospects from joint marketing events and campaigns with resellers.

  • Coordinate with resellers and establish an understanding of each reseller's strengths and go to market strategy to best align with them during the campaign.

  • Promote joint marketing events with cybersecurity institutions (SANS, Gartner, etc.) and resellers to drive attendance.

  • Work directly with VP Sales and Sr Director of Channels to shape the scope and context for outreach to said lists and targeted markets.

  • Work with the marketing, sales, and technical teams to ensure content aligns with overall strategy for specific campaigns and outreach.

  • Qualify and prioritize leads based on Budget, Authority, Need and Timing for potential initiatives, including technical and economic buyers as well as additional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience as a Sales Development Representative in enterprise software.

  • Experience prospecting in the cybersecurity space.

  • Experience using LinkedIn and other social media platforms for research and prospecting.

  • Experience with CRM solutions (we use HubSpot) and automated communication with embedded tasks in sequences.

  • Positive outlook with a strong work ethic.

  • Must be passionate about cybersecurity.

  • Must operate with highest degrees of respect and integrity.
